Search by Country
To access project information, or documents related to USAID’s work in natural resources management since the year 2000:
- Select one of the online resources (projects or documents).
- On the world map, click on the appropriate region.
- When the regional map appears, click on the desired country.
Need information about USAID’s work in a region? Use the advanced search option.
Search with Multiple Criteria
Use the “Advanced Search” link on the right to further define your search. Search options depend upon whether projects or documents are being searched. Results from an advanced search will list records matching all criteria specified.
Entering Text in Search Fields
You can narrow the list of projects or documents for a country or region by typing in the search box on the right side of the screen.
- If you search for a specific topic, such as forestry, while viewing the world map, your search will yield a list of forestry projects from all the regions. If the Africa map is displayed, you will retrieve forestry projects only in Africa.
- The database will search for the exact phrase entered. For example, a search for “biodiversity and forestry” will yield all items with that exact phrase. A search for “GIS” will find records with “GIS systems” and “legislation”.
- Capitalization is ignored. A search for “USAID” is the same as “usaid.”
- Accents and other non-English characters do not need to be specified when searching for French or Spanish words. In the search form, an English a, for example, is the equivalent of a, à, á, ä, â, and ã.
