The USAID Office of Natural Resources Management (NRM) — including teams for biodiversity, forestry, land, and water, works with USAID Missions and Bureaus, partners, and other stakeholders in developing countries to promote the wise stewardship of natural resources and sustain them for future generations.

An important part of USAID’s work is the conservation of natural resources while supporting the economic growth of communities who depend on these resources for their livelihoods.

To assist this work, the Natural Resources Information Clearinghouse has developed online resource libraries about USAID’s natural resources projects that include documents produced by these projects, and links to related Web resources. For more details about the information resources, see Frequently Asked Questions.
