What information resources does NRIC provide?
NRIC provides online access to the following information:
- Projects Catalogue
The projects catalogue contains information about USAIDs natural resources projects and activities worldwide. Information available includes an NRIC-generated project description and summary of results, lists of contractors and partners, USAID strategic objectives, and project duration.
- Documents Library
The documents library includes reports generated by USAID, its contractors, and its partners. These reports describe the projects and other USAID natural resource activities and their impacts and lessons learned. Included are progress reports, technical reports, project evaluations, books, articles, and conference proceedings. Many documents are available for download from USAIDs Development Experience Clearinghouse. USAID staff may contact NRIC to request information not available for download.

What are the sources of information in NRIC?
Information in the NRIC Project Catalogue is primarily from USAIDs Congressional Budget Justification, USAID annual reports (R4s), Mission and contractor web sites, and USAID project-generated reports. Project documents have been gathered from these same sources and in large part from the USAID Development Experience Clearinghouse.

How current and complete is the information?
Information is included from 2000 to the most recent information that NRIC can find at the time a country or global project is reviewed. NRIC conducts annual reviews to identify new projects and update ongoing projects. Hence, the data presented at a given time may be 6-18 months out of date, depending on cyclical reviews by NRIC and periodic reporting by USAID. The completeness of records depends on the public availability of information.
USAID staff, partners, and contractors are encouraged tell NRIC about errors in the archives and about new projects. Corrections and additions to the information should be sent to NRIC. Project documents should be sent to Development Experience Clearinghouse.
